Welcome to the 2024 Expedition to Iceland! We are beyond thrilled to welcome you and celebrate this amazing community with you this summer. The expedition will be full of ADVENTURE, laughs, waterfalls, delicious food, black sand beaches, glaciers and COMMUNITY!
Ready for Iceland?!? The first step towards arriving in Reykjavik is to review the various forms and information below and submit your deposit. **Once ready, you can begin to look into flights. Please arrive by 10 am on your expedition’s arrival day for the airport shuttle to Selfoss. If you plan to arrive early, no worries. We will arrange pickup service to meet you.

Payment Schedule
Deposit: $250 to secure your position on the trip. (Please note, deposits are transferrable to future expeditions, but are non-refundable)
Remainder: $2,500 due 45 days before the trip.

Guidelines for Purchasing Flights
The Global Treks team will be meeting everyone at the Keflavik International Airport (airport code KEF). Once we collect everyone at the airport we will drive the 50 minutes to our lodging. Plan on arriving to the airport by 10:00 am.
Global Treks will transport the group to the airport on the last day of the trip in the morning, so flights can be purchased to depart anytime on the final expedition day. Everyone will need to be out of our housing by 10 am on the final day. The last shuttle to the airport from Global Treks guides will be at 10 am. Please note: If you have a flight that departs late at night please make arrangements for your own transportation.
Travel Insurance
For travel insurance, Global Treks and Adventures is not associated with anyone in particular or sell insurance directly. But, we have used insuremytrip.com in the past and had a positive experience. They have several options you can review. There are also many other options available online, so we recommend taking some time to find a plan that fits your individual preferences. Please note, while recommended, it is not required to purchase travel insurance.
Cancellation
If you decide to cancel your trip, the following fees apply and are due to Global Treks and Adventures LLC at the time (prior to departure) we receive written notice of your cancellation.
● 46 + days Refund minus initial deposit of $250 (Deposits are non-refundable but transferable)
● 0 - 45 days 0% Refund
